President and First Lady arrive in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah

His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this afternoon to perform Umrah.
Upon their arrival at Madinah International Airport, they were received by the Governor of Madinah, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Director of Royal Protocol, Ibrahim Bari.
The President and First Lady departed for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this morning. All expenses for the trip are borne by the government of Saudi Arabia, with arrangements having been finalised in February 2026.
