A Malé bookshop that refuses to close

The oldest bookshop in Malé, which has occupied the same narrow frontage on Chaandhanee Magu since the second presidency of Ibrahim Nasir, announced this week that its next proprietor will be a cooperative of thirty regular customers rather than its founder's son.
