A film from Addu finds an unlikely festival

A twenty-four-minute documentary shot last monsoon in Hithadhoo has been selected for the non-fiction strand of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The director, previously unknown outside the country, funded the film with a grant from the National Centre for the Arts.
