Maldives crowned SAFF Futsal Champions with one match to spare
A back-five that held through eight straight matches takes the country's second continental title in a decade.
The Maldives' men's futsal side sealed the SAFF Futsal Championship 2026 on Thursday evening with one match still to play, in a tournament the team conceded only three goals across eight matches.
It is the second continental title for Maldivian futsal in a decade, and the first that has not required penalties.
