President restructures Cabinet to 15 members, with 12 newly appointed Ministers sworn in

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has restructured the Cabinet, reducing the number of Cabinet Ministers to 15 members. The 12 new Cabinet Ministers were presented with their letters of appointment at a ceremony held at the President’s Office earlier today.

The newly appointed Ministers and their respective portfolios are as follows:

The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice, Honourable Uz Abdul Ghanee Mohamed, after which the Ministers signed the declaration of oath.

With these appointments, the Cabinet now comprises 15 members in total, including the Attorney General, Uz Ahmed Usham, and two additional ministerial portfolios.
