Maldivian Enhances Connectivity with Additional Evening Flight to Muli
Maldivian has added an additional daily evening flight on the Malé–Muli (MUM) route, further enhancing air connectivity to Meemu Atoll and strengthening travel options for the local community and business sector. The additional service commenced operations on 27 December 2025 and operates daily, with departures from Malé at 18:00 hours. Prior to the launch, a test flight was successfully operated on 18 December 2025 as part of operational readiness checks. The new evening flight has been scheduled to provide greater flexibility for passengers, particularly those travelling for work, official duties, and essential services, while improving same-day travel options for residents of Muli. The additional service complements Maldivian’s existing scheduled flights to Muli, further improving connectivity to Meemu Atoll. With the additional service, Maldivian now operates two flights from Malé to Muli and three flights from Muli to Malé, offering improved flexibility for passengers travelling in both directions. The additional evening service also supports growing travel demand during the ongoing holiday season, while continuing to cater to the needs of business and community travel year-round. This enhancement reflects Maldivian’s ongoing efforts to respond to evolving travel needs and interests, ensuring its network continues to serve passengers across a wide range of travel purposes, while aligning domestic operations with passenger demand and reliable connectivity across the Maldives.
